Problem Solved!

They say that global warming is rising the worlds oceans...

While siting around the coffee table this morning with some teammate we found this theory to be absurd.

It would seem like the oceans are rising but in reality the weight of our country is increasing and sinking into the worlds waters.

Solution to this problem is a simple as taking the stairs the next time you need to go to the second level: Student who have put on more then the freshmen 15 stand and wait for more then 5 min to take the only elevator in the building to go up two floors... Next week I'm going to get some inside the elevator interviews and ask why they don't take the stairs. ;)

My Vision

You'll see if we go with it soon enough.

It's True.

I'm starting to get a lot more gray hair. I'll give it a couple more years till I have the total salt and pepper look down.

I think I got a few more because I "bought" a new bike from Pedal Force. Please buy my Dura-Ace stuff on eBay!

One of the main reasons I bought this bike is because the geometry was exactly the same as my dented up Cannondale. What is the weight you ask? Just over 17 pounds and that's a 61cm bike. Wait till I get some HED race wheels.

Worst Weekend Ever!

I did an 1/8th of a stage in a stage race this weekend.

It sucked and well sucked big time.

After I downed half of an 18 pack I felt great. Stay tuned for some good photos.

Big thanks goes out to the TBI crew for letting us stay with them.

30 - 2 = 28

Thanks Leslie!

It's just another day that goes by, but it gives you a chance to look back and see where you've been. Who would have guessed I would be going to school full time? Had a great job? Got laid off? Almost got married? Went to Iraq? Meet a life long best friend? Bought a condo, then lost it? Got out of the military with an Honorable discharge? Lived and worked in F'in Wisconsin? And that was just in the last few years!

Life is crazy. I've been through many turns and bumps in the road, but my life has been great, I can't wait for the next chapter to begin.

Maybe racing/studying in Europe for a year?

---

Since I've been 15 it was always a dream of mine to be a professional race mechanic. Even after working at "that bike shop" it still remained one of my goals. But after a few years I found out I might be able to make it racing and that dream was put aside.

Guess who get to be the mechanic at Nature Valley Grand Prix for Team Advil-Chapstick?

Me!

Thanks to my teammate Natalie Klemko, who is the National Collegiate Crit Champion.

Think "they'll give dude a beeper?"

Another Year

Happy Birthday Lalla!! Have a great day :)

Tunis-Roubaix

Last weekend was our first collegiate race. MSU took the top 3 spots in the A race. 1st Colt, 2nd Jason and winning the "sprint" The National Champ Alex. The course was one of the coolest I've ever ridding. Nothing like going 30 MPH on a ripped up dirt road. On the rough parts there would be up to 10-15 bottles in the "road."

We also took 1st in the B's race with Tyler, who like a beast soloed for over 3 of the 11 mile laps.

My teammates say I raced well. For the first 2 laps I kept the pace high. Then the attacks came. After a bunch of those I was bombed. But I finished the race and got 15th...

I just received an email invitation to join the Honors program here at MSU.

Called Out

I knew I was going to get crap sometime soon for not having posted anything in awhile. To be honest though, my life just hasn't warranted a post lately. It's been a pretty low key winter - filled with things that you don't really want to know about. I got a new job which has been keeping me busy, and I haven't been on my bike since Thanksgiving. It's going to be a long spring.

Last night, I had a killer time hanging out at the one and only Hollywood Cycles with some of MN's finest. I only got one picture, but Kristy Kreme took plenty more. If she ever gets to actually posting something sometime soon (I know, as if I'm one to talk - but she has her own blog. I just share with Lalla), you'll get a chance to see the very entertaining faces that people were making while playing Guitar Hero. It's amazing how much fun can be had while hanging out in a bike shop after closing time!

The only picture you really need to see of the night is this one though:

Now I just need Jay to wake up so we can go get some really delicious hangover food...

12-01-07

Was the last time Leslie posted something.

Got 3 hours in today. Rode on a freeway... Saw a few camels, the single hump flavor.

Tim contradicted him self, again. "It was okay with saying no to some teams, but running a race outside of pre-agreed upon rules is a bad thing." Ahh Those rules stated they needed to have those teams race, That's why UCI and ASO are in this mess. You can't have both Timmy.

My racing season next year in MN... Nothing to see here, move on.

It's E R I C Carter.

I'm trying to lobby for an awesome kit this year that will probably just end up looking square. I'll post it when we get the final yes or no.

UCI V. ASO

What is the UCI doing? Do you think those multi million dollar sponsors will be happy when their team isn't allowed in the TDF? Thank you UCI for killing the sport.

I say the UCI needs to put the "Poor Tour" on the back burner and start thinking about the teams they're supposedly fighting for.

The ASO should run it under French law. The race must go on! Why the heck can't the riders race it?

We could bring up "The Grinch's layer" or "The beer up." I love the UCI.

Please come back. My days are lost without you.
