Chased down a car that thought it would be fun to try to hit us boys head on (More about this later.)
Nursed a baby bunny in my back pocket till it bit me, so I ate it. Then went to Perkins for the tremendous 12.

That's what it all comes down to. I asked Mike Woell today: "When are you going to upgrade?" All I received was a shrug. This is what happens when you go directly to that person... So I'm done holding my lip. To upgrade to a 2 it takes 25 points for a "mandatory upgrade" 60 points.

If my math is correct that's 83 points, not too bad. I understand the need to "learn to win" but at some point you have to move up right? Racing with Mike in my first year as a 3 has been tough, and there is no doubt in my mind he has made all of us faster and wiser. I look forward to racing against him in a couple of years, but not anymore this year as a 3.

To you Cat. 4 and 5s at Dakota. Sorry you've been destroyed by this dude in a training crit, and I hope this experience doesn't ruin your ambitions for the future.

So I felt good after my week off. After being dropped at Dakota in both of my races, I felt like I needed to bring it up. I rode every day this week getting ready for this weekend.

The race went well, and I never went into the red through out the whole race... The announcer announced 5 to go, and the group was expecting Grand Stay to string it out (They had 5 or 6 dudes). But they never really produced. Towards the end I lost count of the laps to go. I though we were on the last lap and when a slight lull happened, I made my move. I came around the last corner ready to throw my arms in the air 'til I heard the announcer say " ONE LAP, ONE LAP TO GO." What? Damn... I held it as long as I could but I gave'er all. So I ended off the back. I guess the same lull happened on the last lap too... O well.

Patrick H. locked it up today with a good win. It would be hard to find a better state chump to represent the 3s. Good job... He needs a nickname...

Eric had more then enough "TV" time to last us for awhile. ;)

4/5s was a little crazy, this dude went off with 7 to go and held it to the line! With little cohesion from the pack it was a sprint for second. I think Tim G ended up with a ahh 8th...? He'll be moving up soon to 3s, that will turn my job into the lead out man.

Is it me or does it seem all our races this year have been rather hard and every one seems to be all on the same level? I remember back in the days as a 4 there would always be a power house rider, but these days it seems anyone could win on any giving Sunday(Patrick and Mike W. more then most.)

Are the 1,2s worried yet?

Where am I?

So I'm at the parent's watching the dogs and house while they're on a fishing trip to Canada. Every thing is going ok till about 3:30am when I hear arguing going on outside. I think alcohol and a woman had something to do with it, Cops here we come... At first I was pist at how loud they were then I started getting really pist that they haven't fought yet. I mean I would take one good fight that ended at 12 then an argument that last till 4ish in the morning. At one point I thought about yelling "Fight or shut the hell up." But then it was all over.



Here is one of the mutts I'm watching. At this point he stole my sandal when I was gone and licked the hell of it out in the yard. He was keeping quite the distance for awhile. haha
