Nationals

Looks like I'll be going and hopefully I'll be able to do more of this for the team.
Thanks Leslie for the photo.
I'm very fortunate to be racing with guys who have been racing over in Europe and are stronger then most, Like "The Gun Show", Colt and Jason. So my job on this team has been really simple. Do as much as possible and keep my guys out of the wind while keeping breaks in check and following wheels. So far it's been a good season and I look forward coming home in the next week. Looks like I'll be driving home on the 12th so I might make the Opus!

MSU Race Weekend

I didn't go down but I also left the race early... To get the podium girls ready of course. Pics will be up for that soon.

Thanks to the UT guys for this!

Why...?

Does the R&A ad in Velonews have Campy shifters and DA drive train?

Another Race Weekend

Up to 18 races.

We did a cool TT hill climb that I did in 3:46 and I didn't get last, But the "Gun Show" did beat me by almost a minute! A circuit race on a car race course and a nice RR. I was happy in that I didn't get dropped in either and played a good part in the RR. I'll be posting some video and some pics later. Francis got 2nd, Alex 3rd in a little group sprint.

---

I also cracked my new 16.5 pound bike... Damit!!! I'm not sure how it happened but doing the TT I was pushing on the back of the saddle hard and heard a pop! I'll be getting in touch with Pedal Force today. It's all about the Watts!

---

The allergies are still looming.

15 Races so Far This Season

I'm kind of jealous Opus has started... I really want to do some of those. You boys really look pasty white!

---

With all this talk that Super is doing about the Duluth Stage race it's like a broken record... I'm going to Iowa. I would rather have fun racing Snake Alley as a Cat.3 for my first time.

---

Finally starting to kill these allergies. I got 5th in a 1,2,3 Wednesday Crit. Not many people should up though, it was to windy...

---

Leslie I think is coming down next week. I'm still not sure how she is going to make it from the airport to where I live in the ghetto.

---

I'm still looking for a place for my friend to stay over the summer. Come on folks lets show a little "Minnesota nice."

This is not him

More Photos

The Matts. Fox and Sauls.

Not a HED wheel in sight. :(

Here is a head shot though.

The rest of the team went down to Fort Davis for a stage race... The "van" ran out of gas, in the desert... I'm glad there wasn't enough room for me to go down. I heard they started to eat each other. This is what a survivor told me. Half of this is true, you pick which half.

First Win of the Season

Finally, These darn allergies are still killing me though. I won the 8 lap scratch race by throwing down with 4 to go. Second in the points race and a second in a photo finish unknown distance. So second over all. Here is some photos.

The competition. This little dude couldn't even clip in. He had to have his dad do it for him. And you know he rode the track above the blue line...

The steed.

Pens and Bikes

My favorite pen I've been using all year has finally died. It was good while it lasted.

Team bikes are cool. MSU is sponsored by Giant.

I only got lapped twice...

The "A" team won the road race, tied for 1st in the TT and got 3rd in the crit.

So far in the last month and a half I've been healthy for 1 race weekend. I seem to be picking something up that gets in my lungs every other day.

"My allergies to tha fans has returned."

O well, I'm glad it's a long season.

Have you signed up for the Tour of Ohio yet?

MSU is sending a team. It should be "fun."

Here's is a photo of what was left in the road race last weekend. My teammate got 2nd up the road and I got 6th... about 12 finished in the front group. I think we started with about 60-70 Freds. It's fun when you and your teammate are the ones driving the front guttering folks. ;)

By the way, my new crown is a white Lazer.
