On this day Leslie and I met for the first time.

So I'm still not training. Has it been one week or two? I think allergies were a big contributor to my lack of performance not over training. I'm missing some sweet rides with a recovering Josh Carter who is fast I guess. I do get to ride a little to school and back though.

Matt Fox from MSU and Minnesota's own Elana Dorr had a good Track National showing (way to jump on that one Bikethrow.)

You guys will get a kick out of this... So you all remember Eugene Chacherine, well he didn't disappoint again with crashing... I think the first time was on the rollers right next to Fox (who said it was funny as hell.) Then again on the track during a match sprint. If you can find a picture of his new bike I hear it's sweet!!! I wonder if he has crash replacement insurance.

I kind of took resposiblilty for her(someone found her)and my friend Josie named her. I'm not really a big cat guy, but what the hell, she poops in her litter box already. I guess I'll keep her for a little while.

Second and Third races

Last nights race was held in a cool Italian town, they also gave us a free pasta dinner afterwords. Boyd got 9th I think. I was able to go work the front for a lap to try to bring back an early break and help the team a little. then it was over after 40 min. It was fun racing side by side Hank Vogels for awhile. I think next year at these races I'll be able to actually really help the team out.

First race is done. It was hard, I pulled out with 5 to go. Boyd got 7th, Collin and Todd stuck in well to the end. Brian Jensen won.

Dewy and I also made fun of GP for not being there...

In Finland. When will Eric Carter and Joe figure out you can't make that much money in skiing in the U.S. But if you do it right by living at your girlfriend's house and eat her food you might be able to survive racing full time.

Non Pre-registration Fees Need to End

At first I wrote a long essay, but it just didn’t come out right. I’m a simple person with simple questions, so I’m sticking to the K.I.S.S. way of thinking.

1.Why do I have to pay ten dollars more if I don’t pre-register?
2.If I can’t pay thirty five dollars, but I have twenty five will promoters take my money the day of a race or turn me away?
3.What happens if I don’t have a credit card, checking account or internet to pre-register with?
4.Is it better for a race promoter to get twenty five dollars the day of a race then to get none at all?
5.Why don’t promoters keep the same price for providing the same service?
6.Pre-registration is a form of discrimination against cash, isn’t it?
7.What happens if I pre-register then don’t go?
8.How come I can’t get a refund?
