Velodrome

So I went out today and gave her a friendly feel.

Track racing = Awesome. It's super fun and people need to try it at least once.

So now I need to get a CX AND track bike.

So... Should I just leave all these little splinters in my calf or dig them out?

dig 'em out!

also, the lines are super slick right now. that is why you need to keep speed and counter steer!

I'd keep em in, that way every once in a wheel you get reminded to respect the track! :)

great to see you out there!

yeah, leave 'em in.

it builds character.

plus, they'll come out eventually... just ask karla.

Leave 'em in. It will make a great conversation starter with the ladies.

Sweet they'They’re staying in baby.

I love the track! Thanks guys.

First off when Andy was showing me the ropes on the track my rear wheel was sliding down at the speed we were going. I told him and he said it was just the track. This happened a number of times as we were riding around. Felt weird but I've never riding on the track.

Right before I took the water slide simulator, I was catching the rider in front of me... So I was going the right speed.

Then I hit the paint and slipped down, caught back on the wood then over steered back onto the paint... WEEEEE.

So the moral of the story is this. Slippery paint, old tires, inexperience rider = slivers.

14 MPH? Right... I think I'll keeper up ta 20 from now on.

I’ll give her a month or so till I turn a pedal in anger.

Side note... Gilby you breath loud. ;)

Ya... there's no hurry. You don't want them to get infected, but I think my best one stayed in for.... um, about 9 months. I kinda miss it.
