You would kill for this race in MN.
* Cost for the 3/4 omnium TT,Crit,RR - $60.00
* Cost for the "Mad Dash For Cash." Could win $500.00 with the fastest 200m time. - Free (Its a good thing I did a couple chariot races at the track.)
* Cost for a staying in a hotel for 2 nights, for 3 of my teammates and my self. - Free, thanks to the promoter.

No Internet.
We don't have internet right now till Monday at the "Complex."
So I drove back up to MN to use it.
SR I don't do that text crap; He asked if the Da Bomb was our leader at the race tomorrow. The amswer is, I don't think he's going. So none of the yelling team will be in the 3s, Sorry folks.
I start school Monday and thats about it...

Peace out.
Thank you Leslie for making my "Last Dinner" the other night, it was yummy.
I'm off to Midwestern State University to gets some learning' done and to race my bike. I would like to give thanks to all the people out there who gave me friendly advice, motivation and just plain showed me the way.
My goals:
1. Gets me a degree.
2. Ride lots.
3. Learn about being a DS.
4. Earn a one year pro contract when I graduate. I'll be like 31 or so...
5. Never "grow up."
I'll keep you all informed.
Living the dream.

Square Lake RR.
Eric Carter got 2nd.
With the day being as hot as it we were going to let the hill decide the out come. But not to let mother nature have her way with us "Da Bomb" rolled away at 1k, with him off the front doing what he does he pick up a 2-3 minute gap. When they caught him it was Erics time to go. With a nice tempo up the climb Eric pull a loonie up with him. At some point in there ride they decided to "give up" until Matt came by and gave them a split of like 4 minutes... Well that got them going again. Yorgos rode away on the back stretch with 3 to go with a B-Wood rider. So now we had a little more help riding "defensively."
With two to go I had enough, with both my legs not wanting to go any more I bagged it at the finish Line. "Da Bomb" bag it a lap sooner. We were both at the finish line to see the final.
With Eric being "out there" with his "buddy" for about 50 miles or so he wasn't able to follow Yorgos who "rode away" on the final hill. Good job guys.
Little things from the race.
Tuffy: Does he even know how to race? (After I talked to "Da Bomb" for ridding ahh strangely.)
Super: Yo James you think next year you could serve us COLD WATER in the neteral feed. ((Isn't that why you have teammates?) Thanks a bunch "Dad" Rick Carter for the ICE COLD BOTTLES, you are our best sponsor.)
James: What are you doing? Pull though, think about it. My team is killing it. (after I wasn't pulling through in a break up to "Da Bomb." Two teammates with B-Wood killing it would be nice. So I started to pull through... But we never caught him. I'm still learning.)
Thanks for the beer at the finish Jim R!
Thanks Skinnyski.com
I think Mike is going to buy one of those.

Racing is hard.
You gots your Sandbaggers, winners. Nice guys, losers. Crashers, Smashers, Can't hold a line no good for nothing punks, Smack talkers, just plain talkers, Smelly guys, Axe wearing pretty boys (I'm too sexy for this kit, too sexy for this kit too sexy it hurts.) Winers, complainers, top teners, DFL'ers, The quitters, beer drinkers, Lovers, "on your insiders", "hold your line'ers" Last but not least, your self. Who doesn't fit in any category above (Because your "better" then all of them.)Right?
Yeah, we all have one thing in common. We have to put up with each other weekend and week out. So yous best be getting over it. Because next weekend you'll have to deal with us all over again. So don't wast time and energy on one blog post, we have a long season of "teaching" ahead of us, or is it complaining... What ever.
I love family.
Even you Rich.

65 miles.
In the rain with Eric and "Da Bomb."
It's what you have to do.
Thanks City Pages, for the extra warmth.
Saw just two cyclist out there. Not to mention all the Freds at "Race Da Tonka."

Is Skibby going soft?
I thought you were hard core Skibby? You only signed up for 3 races this weekend not the available 4... 1/2/3?
All respect went down the toilet.
Do you think you'll be able to do well in CX this year with this show of softness?

Track Night
It was a beautiful night to go watch racing at the track which is exactly what Sarah and I did. The next time you'll be able to see our shining faces (see above) is at the Campus Crit this Sunday down at the U of M East Bank.
This Saturday night.
I'll be playing hockey with Shame at Victory Memorial then heading over to Tony J's for Greenies and maybe Grumpy's later, if the right people persuade me...
This is a little going away party, all are welcome.
