UCI V. ASO

What is the UCI doing? Do you think those multi million dollar sponsors will be happy when their team isn't allowed in the TDF? Thank you UCI for killing the sport.

I say the UCI needs to put the "Poor Tour" on the back burner and start thinking about the teams they're supposedly fighting for.

The ASO should run it under French law. The race must go on! Why the heck can't the riders race it?

We could bring up "The Grinch's layer" or "The beer up." I love the UCI.

ASO running the race outside of the juristriction of the recognized international body of cycling is ridiculous.

ASO is at fault on this one.

It was okay with saying no to some teams, but running a race outside of pre-agreed upon rules is a bad thing.

Not when those rules(ProTour) puts limits on who can race an ASO event. ASO is putting it on. Maybe they shouldn't put it on? Do you think then the UCI will put it on? bye bye TDF.

The UCI is limiting and now fining teams and riders.

Who is promoting the teams/sponsors the best in this situation?

ASO is trying. The UCI won’t let them.

United States Declaration of Independence

Maybe that’s a little over board, but you get my drift.

seems to me that cycling runs more on the "hypocritic oath", "I'll do what's best for me, and pretend that it's what's best for the sport, and then punish those who don't see things my way"
