Mt. Lemmon

This hawk caught this little pigeon... there was feathers every where.

I didn't make it all the way to the top. I... didn't bring my cold weather stuff. I went up to 8000ft and my feet and hands were numb. So I went back down and only had to stop 5 times; my bike was shaking bad... or was that me? It was a long day. my legs still feel strong though.

lame, I'm a fat track racer and even I have been all the way to the pie shop at Summerhaven.

Well for some reason I didn't bring any clothes... I found a plastic bag for the way down and that was a life savor. FYI I also rode 2 hrs to get there... and I had to ride home.

Lalla, I'm sure it was an awesome ride, kicked ass, etc. I'm totally envious sitting here in -fuck degrees. Keep it up.

it's not my fault you rode 2 hours through town to get to the base of Lemmon. Did you stop at Le Buzz?

Le Buzz? Is that some sort of French bee farm?

No, it's a coffee shop up near the catalina highway as you're on your way to the base of Lemmon, you should have ridden right past it on your way there. Awesome cookies and pastries.

So let me get this straight. If I were to eat a bunch of yummy cookies and pastries I would have enough natural insulation to be able to ride all the way to the top? ;)
